the time using the Windows Setup.exe program. I believe it has something

all the extraction threads are finished to proceed with the image mods that
they do around the 88-95 percentish range.

Comments:
-ESD lifecycle has reached it's end for pre-activated monthly versions
using the default Windows Setup program (boot setup). To get around this
issue, I've integrated my setup script from my diskpart/apply project.
You can still try to use Windows Setup by closing the script or selecting
the No option at the opening of the script.

-Previous v1 release had an issue with the recenv call in winre.wim. As a
result it will simply reboot when you try to use it. Most people will never
see this issue since most of the recenv is integrated into windows itself.
However, to fix, you do the following:

-run admin prompt command:
diskpart
select disk 0
list partition (find the one with 300mb)
select partition 3 (or whatever the number of your 300mb one is)
assign
exit

(use backslashes not forward slashes in directory locations for rest)
-Then turn on system file viewing in your control panel.
copy/paste the winre.wim file from the recovery partition recovery/windowsre
directory.
-mount the winre.wim index 1 using dism:
dism /mount-wim /wimfile:c:/temp/winre.wim /index:1 /mountdir:c:/mount
-edit the c:/mount/windows/system32/winpeshl.ini file
-Change the line:
%systemdrive%/recovery/recenv.exe
To:
%systemdrive%/sources/recovery/recenv.exe
-Then unmount /commit and copy/paste over old file.
dism /unmount-wim /mountdir:c:/mount /commit
-copy/paste it over the old one from recovery/windowsre in the 300mb
recovery partition. (Make sure you didn't use forward slashes)

-Multi-Boot, Fast Setup, Add drivers to PE environment, Add drivers to
post-install offline image, Recovery image partition, Fully ESD compatible,
split-wim compatible, No Extra system partition option for MBR users.
-You can even shrink your recovery image after install and resize your
partitions, though I haven't automated that part. You would just assign
a drive letter to the recovery partition, copy/paste the install.wim to your
system drive and export the image to an install.esd using recovery compress.
Then you point reagentc at the osimage again.

Pernahkah sobat mengalami apa yang dialami teman saya ini? Yaitu dia senang utak atik komputer, karena penasaran, dia membuka salah satu shortcut aplikasi dengan fitur "Open With" di Windows 7. Dia "Open With" dengan program Adobe Photoshop, jegreeeeeeng akhirnya semua shortcut aplikasi didesktop nya berubah menjadi logo Adobe. Ketika dia membuka salah satu game, eh malah kebuka Adobe Photoshop, parah bukan? Hehe.

Kalo dipikir-pikir, dengan kejadian diatas, fitur "Open With" yang di Windows 7 memang punya kelemahan, ya kan sob. Beda sama fitur "Open With" nya Windows XP yang tidak membolehkan untuk meng-"Open With" file berekstensi ".exe".

Akhirnya teman saya meminta pertolongan kepada saya. Berhubung saya gaptek(hehe), saya sempat berfikir untuk install ulang itu Windows. Tapi, karena lagi males, saya putuskan untuk search aja di banyak forum-forum untuk menemukan solusinya, dan akhirnya ketemu juga. Kita bisa mengembalikan eksekusi yang salah tadi, dengan merubah registry, agar program kembali ke default(asal) nya.

Baiklah langsung aja kita mulai memeperbaiki eror tersebut,

1. Pertama dan yang utama, sobat download dulu file disini..!

2. Didalam arsip tersebut ada dua file, yaitu file registry exe_error_fix.reg dan shortcut(lnk)_error_fix.reg. Ekstrak kedua file tersebut terserah sobat.

3. Klik dua kali di kedua file tersebut, kalo ada dialog konfirmasi, pilih saja Yes

4. Setelah itu, restart lah komputer/laptop sobat. Kalo berhasil, semua icon shortcut udah kembali seperti semula, alhamdulillah.

Hai sobat, salam sejahtera. Saya mau share lagi nih, pengalaman saya saat menemukan bahwa Windows Vista saya mengalami masalah. Security Center nya gak bisa dinyalakan sob, ada pesan error "The Security Center can't be started". Saat saya menggunakan Windows 7 pun pernah mengalami hal yang sama. Sana sini mencari solusi akhirnya dapet juga kemaren, dan setelah saya coba, ternyata berhasil. Tentunya sobat juga ingin tau kan, cara mengatasi error yang mengganggu ini? Baiklah, mari kita mulai untuk mengatasinya, simak baik-baik ya.

Cara mengatasi, jika error nya ringan:

1. Klik Start Menu, ketik Services.msc di kolom Start Search, kemudian tekan Enter

2. Pada panel kanan cari dan klik dua kali di Security Center

3. Di pilihan Startup type, pilih Automatic, kemudian klik Apply, kemudian lagi klik Start, terakhir klik OK

4. Restart lah komputer. Done!


Cara mengatasi, jika error nya parah(biasanya dikarenakan virus dan semacamnya, di dalam Services.msc pun sobat tak akan menjumpai Security Center service):

1. Sobat download dulu file disini ya!

2. Kalo sudah ekstrak lah di desktop sobat, didalamnya ada 3 file registry,
- Vista-7 Security Center Fix x64(64bit).reg
- Vista-7 Security Center Fix x86(32bit).reg
- XP Security Center Fix x86(32bit).reg
Nah, sobat gunakan file registry ini sesuai dengan Operating System(OS) yang sobat gunakan. Klik dua kali pada file registry tersebut(inget, pilih salah satu aja ya sesuai dengan OS yang sobat pake!). Jika ada dialog konfirmasi, pilih saja Yes!

3. Sudah? Bagus, restart lah komputer sobat. Setelah restart, jika berhasil, Security Center nya udah normal lagi sob.


Notes:
Jika sobat pengguna Windows 7 dan menemui masalah icon Action Center(icon bendera kecil putih di taskbar) tak mau muncul, ini mungkin solusi yang bisa dipake:

Icon Action Center tak muncul di Windows 7, mungkin disebabkan oleh kesalahan registry. Dan jika sobat mencoba menyalakan nya di Customize Notification Icons... sobat akan menemui error seperti gambar(klik untuk memperbesar),

Gak bisa dinyalain

1. Download dulu file ini

2. Didalamnya ada file registry, ekstrak lah dan klik dua kali di file tersebut. Jika ada dialog konfirmasi, pilih saja Yes!

3. Restart komputer. Done!


Gimana sob? Cara-cara diatas cukup mudah bukan? Oh iya, biasanya serangan virus juga berdampak pada Windows Firewall, untuk mengatasinya klik disini ya. Saya cukupken dulu, ada salah kata mohon dimaafkan ya sobat, wassalam.
